New 2009 Elite Team!

This is a moment in time to celebrate... As Editor of Up2Scrap I am delighted to now share with you the names of the four women who will work with me in 2009 on the Elite Team... can we have a drum roll please!

• Sarah Punnett
• Vicki Morris

These four highly talented women, presented outstanding portfolios showing real innovation and creativity. Their work will also be published in the next issue of Up2Scrap due out mid November. Congratulations to you all!

At this time I would also like to acknowledge the retiring 2008 Elite Team, Jo Kneller, Sarah Groen, Megan Renfree and Rose McKenzie.  I have really enjoyed working you all this year. You have been a fabulous team and I hope all of you will stay in close contact with Up2Scrap.

Glitz and Glam

Aren't they gorgeous!  Amy (left) and Rose (right) looked super at the Saturday night SENZ dinner, October 1th. Rose also was chosen as runner-up for the "Pricilla - Queen of the Desert" costume competition.  You rock Rose!

Next week we will also post up the results of the Up2Scrap Charity Auction to raise money for NZ Endometriosis.  Thank you so much all of you that took part in bidding for the exquisite papercrafting projects donated by members of Up2Scrap's design team.

Don't forget, Steph is in studio tomorrow from 11am to 2pm to help any of our local girls to complete Up2Scrap SENZ classes plus provide you with a final look at the yummy product we took to SENZ.  Steph has a few extra 'sales and specials' just for you, over and above the SENZ specials advertised over last weekend!  If our lovely security people are over zealous and lock the front door on us, please call Steph on 356 2360 and she will make sure you get in to enjoy seeing the SENZ class projects and more.

Sharing the SENZation

We are back from SENZ and  bursting at the seams with all the latest products and ideas.
For all those local ladies who could not make it to SENZ, UP2Scrap would like to invite you to an open studio day on Saturday the 18th October at our office in 53 Queen St, Level 1, PN (Vision Manawatu Building) between 11am and 2pm where you will have the chance to purchase the latest collections from Piggy Tales, Cosmo Cricket, Imaginisce, Bazzill and more, including Stephs latest hand designed corsets, which went down a treat in her "This Time I'm Escaping" class at SENZ (see image below).

You will be able to view the class mock ups and for those who took part in classes, you will have the chance to catch up with Steph for further questions if need be. Steph will also be demonstrating some of the cool effects that can be achieved with the Glaze and Souffle pens.
